Bags of knitting – a knitting blog

Knitted purse pattern – hope you like it.

Here’s another of my knitted purse patterns. It’s not for an absolute beginner knitter, but would suit someone who has already knitted something. I’d call it a basic, fast and easy pattern. The bag uses as knit-woven stitch, once you’ve knitted a couple of rows and you’re in the groove – it’s quick.

For Australians using this blog use a 14ply, other visitors – bulky. I’ve included, tension and needle sizes within the pdf pattern. You should have no problem finding a suitable cost effective yarn, no matter what country you’re in.  You’ll find the pattern at houghtonavenue this link (opens in a new window – if not, hold down Ctrl and click again) I’ve listed it on the left hand tool bar. I hope you enjoy the pattern. Now to Bamboo yarn. I mentioned earlier this week I was trying some out. Designed a pattern, decided my design over-powered the yarn – which is very pretty. So back to the drawing board…will let you know as soon as I have a pattern ready. Hope you all enjoy your week-end…bye for now..
